About InCommons

InCommons logoIn many communities, people are having problems solving problems. They are working alone and are disconnected from other people addressing similar issues. Others are struggling to achieve scale or gain critical support for solutions to community problems. To address these challenges, the Bush Foundation and its partners have developed a new model for community problem-solving and supporting local leadership called InCommons.

The purpose of InCommons is to connect people through local gatherings, engagement and web networks so they can find and share credible tools, knowledge and resources to solve community problems.

We developed InCommons with broad input from the community and in collaboration with our partners to ensure you never have to tackle important issues alone. Lessons learned in one community can become starting points for addressing similar issues in other towns and cities elsewhere in the state. Through InCommons, perfect strangers can become powerful allies in support of common endeavors.
