In 2004, the Bush Foundation replaced its published annual report with an annual report” issue of Giving Strength (produced in May). The issue included a letter from the president summarizing the year’s activities and a brief financial report. For those who requested it, the magazine also mailed with a separate, in-depth Financial Summary.
In 2008, the Foundation moved the "annual report” issue of Giving Strength to summer and stopped producing the separate Financial Summary.
